Fivestargrass respects the privacy of all users of its website and ensures that the personal information you provide us with is treated confidentially. Our employees are obliged to respect and guarantee the confidentiality of your data.

The processing of your personal data is handled in such a way as to ensure that our statutory requirements, in the present case being those under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), are met.

By making use of this website, you indicate that you have accepted Fivestargrass’s privacy policy.

Processing of personal data: any action or aggregation of actions relating to personal data, including the collection, recording, organisation, storage, changing, consultation, use, issuing and destruction thereof.

Communication

For example, when you send us an e-mail or complete the contact form or questionnaire, register for one of our newsletters or download or upload a document, it is possible that we will save those messages and/or forward them internally to a relevant department. Sometimes, we ask you for your personal data (e.g. your name, town/city, telephone number or e-mail address) which are relevant to a given situation. This enables us to process your questions, answer your requests and contact you.

Fivestargrass makes use of cookies on its website. A cookie is a small file which a website places on the device (such as desktop computer, smartphone or tablet) that is visiting the website. We use cookies to improve the website and to tailor advertisements to your interests.

Our website makes use of various kinds of cookies: functional, analytical, advertising and tracking cookies. The following is an explanation and overview of the various cookies we use:

Functional cookies

Protective measures

Any personal data collected by Fivestargrass are stored on Fivestargrass’s own secure servers, or those of a third party. We will not combine these data with any of the other personal data at our disposal. Apart from technical measures, such as log-in codes and passwords, various organisational measures are taken: personal data are only accessible to the employees who genuinely require those data in order to perform their work. All measures taken are evaluated periodically and, where necessary, modified.

Third parties

In order to be able to perform our work properly and to achieve an optimum service provision, it may occur, in the context of cooperation, that we pass personal data on to other organisations or companies. For example, our newsletter provider Spotler saves interactions for the purpose of personalising and making relevant newsletter content.

The aforementioned is done in accordance with the applicable legislation which, among other things, sets standards for the manner in which your data are processed, such as security requirements and retention periods. We always make sure that any third parties at whose disposal we put personal data handle them with the utmost care. This begins with a careful selection of third parties; these must be able to guarantee that personal data are adequately protected at all times and only used for the purposes agreed with Fivestargrass. In most cases, this is laid down in a processing agreement. Where very large third parties such as Microsoft are concerned, the level of data protection required within the EU is guaranteed by means of certification according to the Privacy Shield agreement.
